Halfen Dowel System
Showing the single result
The Halfen Dowel System provides a reliable solution for transferring shear forces across concrete joints. Engineers use it to connect slabs while allowing controlled movement. This system prevents cracking and structural damage caused by shrinkage, temperature changes, and ground settlement.
Each unit includes a stainless steel dowel pin and sleeve. The sleeve is cast into the first concrete pour. After removing the formwork, workers insert the dowel pin into the sleeve during the second pour. This staged installation simplifies construction and ensures precise alignment.
The system supports both vertical and horizontal movement. It handles loads ranging from 50 kN to 795 kN. Joluka offers dowels in various diameters, including 22mm, 24mm, 28mm, 34mm, 40mm, and 45mm. Custom sizes are available for special applications.
Made from Grade 316 stainless steel, the components resist corrosion and perform well in aggressive environments. The system eliminates the need for double reinforcement and complex joint detailing. It saves time, reduces labour, and improves durability.
Contractors use the Halfen Dowel System in industrial floors, parking decks, and post-tensioned slabs. It ensures clean joint lines and long-term structural integrity. Joluka supplies complete kits and offers technical support for installation and design.
