1. Cast SLIDING CHANNEL “QUICK” (prod No. 8462) horizontally into concrete beam as per illustration. Insert L-Shaped Debonding Tie into Channel and complete brickwork.<\/p>\n
2. Using SLIDING CHANNEL “QUICK” (prod. No. 8462) with Sliding Anchor Ties which can accommodate vertical movements. Cast SLIDING CHANNEL “QUICK” into ceiling or concrete beam and insert suitable Sliding Anchor into Channel. Build brick wall around this structure. The Sliding Anchors are designed to accommodate different brick sizes, different design considerations and multiple anchoring of brickwall.<\/p>\n
3. DOUBLE-L DEBONDING ANCHOR
\nAttach to underside of structure with M6 Expansion Bolt and complete brick structure around it.<\/p>\n
4. Restrains the top of internal walls by means of 2 angled Ties, which are attached to the top of a structural frame with an 8mm Expansion Bolt.
\nEach restraint can resist a service load of 1kn.<\/p>\n

Whilst it is possible to design a wall without the need for restraint at the top, it can be uneconomical to do so as this might require the use of thicker\/stronger blockwork and\/or the inclusion of bed joint reinforcement to ensure that the panel is sufficiently strong.
